How does football get VAR so wrong? Just watch some TMO in rugby ffs it's not hard.
Because it's only a red card if he's denied a goal. Intentional handball alone isn't worthy of a red, just likes professional fouls aren't automatically a red.How on earth did that take so long?! Once the ref had given it, it was hard to overturn but despite the ridiculousness of the incident, it wasn't an obvious red. The ref had to determine whether it was going in.
