Looking at it for 10 minutes won’t tell you if Mignolet would have saved it. Deserve a red for that.
 
How on earth did that take so long?! It's irrelevant if the keeper would have saved it, the player purposely handling the ball doesn't know that the keeper might have it covered, he's blatantly cheating either way.

Because it's only a red card if he's denied a goal. Intentional handball alone isn't worthy of a red, just likes professional fouls aren't automatically a red.

Once the ref had given it, it was hard to overturn but despite the ridiculousness of the incident, it wasn't an obvious red. The ref had to determine whether it was going in.

I thought it was a red for denying a goalscoring opportunity rather than denying a goal?
