You seem to think that a second yellow card offence should be worse than a first yellow card offence. If that challenge got a first yellow card, which it would have, then it should get a second yellow. The fact that it means Torres is off does not make a difference.
 
Yea it actually does make a difference. The best refs keep 11 v 11. Was never a 2nd yellow in a million years, wasnt dangerous, just a bit late. Every tackle isnt a yellow, its a contact sport mate

I actually don't think there has been a challenge worthy of a yellow card in this game, the ref has given them more for the rolling around than the actual tackle, he's actually turning this match into non-contact
 
The only thing I'm unsure of is why that was so blatant. Torres has for years been kicking defenders like that, but he seemed to make such an effort of moving to the side and stretching to make contact. He's normally putting his studs in on someone's heel over on the corner or similar types of things. He's always been a dirty **** who has gotten away with so much crap in his career. but just so stupid, when Barca are playing badly, he's scored and Atletico weren't in pole position yet by any stretch but were still in a solid position for the first leg. Complete and utter idiot.

No, the best refs referee the game fairly and adhere to the rules whether or not it means sending offs. Saying the best refs keep 11 V 11 is just saying that the best refs will let anything go just to keep it 11 V 11.

No they don't, the worst refs keep 11 vs 11 when one player is cheating and fouling the hell out of them. Commentators always bang on about ruining the game and the like, no, if someone persistently breaks the rules he should be off the pitch with a red card. That is what the rules are, that is what is fair, letting someone persistently foul everyone for the reason of keeping 11 vs 11 is contrary to the game, contrary to the rules and contrary to fair competition... but commentators like to say refs should do that.

If you cheat you should be punished.. also I can think of many many great games where a team went down to 10 men, it very rarely actually ruins games even though commentators like to say it does.

Im talking about challenges where there is nothingin in it. Its a stupid foul but never worthy of a 2nd yellow. I'd of told him it was his last chance or something, i think people are becoming south americanised when literally evrything is foul. You'll eventually have no one even attempting to tackle at this rate. Bonkers 2nd yellow

You quite literally stated "The best refs keep 11 vs 11.", as it's own sentence, with nothing qualifying it. Many people say the same thing and constantly bang on about how a refs should let stuff go because they should keep it 11 vs 11.

For someone calling other people stupid for reading your words and taking their meaning as you wrote them you should probably realise who is at fault. Use better grammar, add to that sentence the context within which you mean it specifically.

He kind of jumped in with studs up anyway as a block, then decided after landing to kick out hard with his other leg right through Juanfran. Absolute certain red card. So blatant, not a tiny little kick but pulled his leg back and kicked high up into him.

Tbh i didnt think you would be that dim to actually think i meant it so literal. Yeah so the goalkeeper has just punched everyone in the face, 11 v 11...no red... Jesus
