This Leverkusen team are atrocious and have made it unbelievably easy for Barca to pretty much score every time they have an attack on. Given crap sides like Getafe have got results against Barca all you can really take from this performance is 'this is how not to play against Barca'.

Obviously they're a great side, but for all the 'lol La Liga is so poor lol' comments, loads of teams have given Barca a proper game where they've actually had to put a shift in to get a win, been battled to a draw or whatnot. 6 draws, 2 losses.

As Martinez said at half time, you might as well not bother if you're going to stand ball-watching against Barca. Just asking to get battered. Played a suicidal high line given they didn't even put pressure on the forward players, just stood there obliviously, so they deserved to get humiliated.

It is from a neutral perspective, to enjoy watching Barcelona play is in most cases akin to enjoying a Premiership side dominate a League Two team. I'm not denying they play brilliant football, I just don't enjoy watching non contests which most Barca matches are.
