Conveniently ignoring all the decisions that have gone your way in this game alone:

Van Persie not being sent off in the first half

for what? he pushed him in the face it was instinctive. A red card for that lol?
Yes deserved a yellow only.

Barca not getting a penalty first half

Yep ref messed up big time there. But i hate it when they try to even it up themselves...makes a mockery of the game

Kos not being sent off for the second penalty.

Where is it written that all penalty decisions = red card for the offender.

But yeah the ref totally decided it.

Of course he did. Ruined the game when Arsenal were reduced to 10. With 11 they could quite easily counter attack well enough.

Just ruins watching a game when everyone and their mother knows the ref made a crucial mistake that has major implications for the game. Far far too much power they have......

If i were Wenger i'd be blatantly accusing the ref of taking a bung....we all know the game is corrupt (look at fifa lol) and its monumentally naive to think otherwise

dont think barcelona will win it though... their defence is quite poor no cohesion...probably the main reason for that is they spend most of the time with possession attacking.

I love how the red card apparently changed the game, not that Arsenal didn't have a single shot :p and completed less then 200 passes and had 30% possession hahahaha

disagree, Barca were wasteful tonight. There's a chance that a team used to setting up differently to Arsenal could have got something.

They were so dominant that they were wasteful at times but at other points there were some passes going through the defence that could have easily been finished. It was either Sagna or Djourou (or both) who made some absolutley vital interceptions.

Barca are just different gravy, even with 11 men Arsenal still didn't do anything.

This says it all really.

Ball possession

Barcelona 68% - 32% Arsenal

Completed passes

Barcelona 724 - Arsenal 119

I would love to see the average and longest time Arsenal had the ball for...

Imagine RvP will be done for what hes saying, especially with the Fergie comments?

To Surfer, because Kos was already on a yellow, and gave away a penalty?

You raise your arms in anger against a players face like that of course it should be a red, he lashed out in frustration because he's a **** He's done it before.

I never said it should be a red, but a second yellow yes quite clearly.

We'll all just forget about the fact Song and Kos should have been sent off, Barca should have had a pen and had a perfectly good goal in the first leg though?

Yes, the red card today was harsh but over the course of the 2 legs, Arsenal have had more of the big decisions go in their favour and still lost. You can't have any complaints.

Arsenal were dominated, Arsenal were beaten by a much better side.

I don't think him on or off the pitch made any difference.

(shock horror that I agree with Souness)

People saying that making arsenal play with 10 men for 35 mins didn't affect the game are being ridiculous. Yes, barca were dominating but they were still behind. You can't state what would have happened if the red card didn't happen. Awful decision, and another game is ruined by the ref. :(

Who said Alves was over rated? Great game from him today bombed forwards all match behind the defense time and time again kept Nasri quiet all game, some brilliant tackles.

And surfer not all fouls in the box are a red card, but a yellow? He was already on one ;)
