When Arsenal go on the moral high ground about their style of play and how its best but go away in Europe and play the style they so often criticise and hate seems very strange.

4-4-2 is a ****ing horrible tactic. Arsenal were a million times better first leg playing 4-5-1 come 4-3-3.

It's not as over-the-top and irrational as a Man Utd - Liverpool match, no, but when one of the replies to my posts is "well you Arsenal fans do bring it on yourself", what am I supposed to assume?

You'll forgive me if I don't back-track through 8 pages of "OMG MESSI *spaffspaffspaff*"
 
Just coming to share my opinion. Personally I feel Arsenal WERE hard done by.

I don't care for these stats about shots on target, possession and pass completion. Whilst it's very impressive, it all boils down to the score-line. I genuinely believe Arsenal had a very good chance to win the tie had RVP not have been sent off.

If Arsenal fans are annoyed try rewinding to the Chelsea Barca game (which was a semi-final as well) Yes, I am still bitter about the b****** ref costing chelsea a Champions League final fixture :p

Anyway, I wonder if anything will come back on RvP and Wenger for post match comments?

Like I said at the time stupidly harsh decision even if technically within the rules but I don't know how harsh UEFA are on criticizing the ref.

the arsenal fans have made their feelings clear so there's no real point in insults, especially when spurs could get turned over tomorrow or even face barca and get mullered. i will say this for spurs though, we wouldn't be such a bunch of pussy's through the centre.
 
In future, if the referee really is there to support the "spirit of the game", I think Messi should start all games with an automatic red card.

It's only fair.

They were pretty hard on Drogba and Bosingwa; 4 and 3 game suspensions.

And before Shami says anything. As long as Evra's banned for 4 games then we're all happy :p
