I really think you need to find a new hobby, or atleast "support" a different team. I have NEVER seen you say anything good about the club you are supposed to support. Your team got narrowly beat by the club that is seen as the best club in the world. That is definitely not something to be ashamed of.
Then you're completely blind, the manager is useless, we have 4-5 players who are epic failures, and a massive squad of brilliant players, played out of position, on the bench, or just in a daft formation with the wrong tactics.
We were NOT narrowly beaten, 24% posession, NO SHOTS ON TARGET, fluked one goal, we were absolutely dominated, we were never in the game, they had a poor first leg and still deserved a victory, Song should have gone early in the first leg, Kos in the second, Diaby gave away a penalty, IIRC there was a penalty that should have gone their way in the first.
One bad decision, retarded decision in this leg but about 4 massive game changing ones across the two ties that went for us, disallowed onside goal, penalty, 2 red cards, and I think a penalty in the first leg aswell. This was with barca going through a "bad patch" while looking fairly poor for them in the league, Barca also missed several of their best players in both games.
Arsenal have a squad that could have beaten Barca last night, I'm focusing on the PERFORMANCE, not the score, the scores irrelevant, they won while not playing their best or with their best players, another night we would have lost 8-1, the performance was so shockingly bad, maybe the worst of the season that we were never in it.
1 goal scorelines when the teams are matched means if the game were replayed next week the winner wouldn't be predictable, that performance wasn't closely matched, play the same game next week and it would be a loss, pure and simple.
We have great players, who get to ride the bench, we have some woeful players who week on week are starting games and costing us penalties, goals, mistakes, cards, and points.
Arsenal need VERY MINOR CHANGES to really compete on every front, we have a deluded manager who only a couple weeks ago was talking about the Quadrouple, we've lost the easiest one of those, and the second hardest(leagues are harder) and we've got Utd in the FA Cup with little chance of winning that or the league.
Even though its the SAME PLAYERS every game who cost us, we make the same mistake over and over and over, I have every right to feel angry for the disgustingly poor performance last night and the just shockingly poor decisions from Wenger.
If you can't find the positives you're blind or a troll.
Here it is, I think we have the best set of strikers in the league, I think we have BY FAR the best and strongest squad in the league. Arshavin's not fit, play Nasri, or Rosicky, Nani's not fit, play Obertan, Malouda's not fit.... to be a footballer, and when he's not fit....... they don't have anyone else. Liverpool, maxi, nuff said.
We've got good fullbacks, a couple decent defenders, we've got a couple great keepers, we've got the best central midfield player in the world, and one of the best potential central midfielders breaking into the team.
I think we can win the title EASILY by playing a better formation and a better starting 11, I think if we didn't waste 10mil on random cb's and 4mil a year on a striker whose worse than every striker we have, we could have bought someone like a David Luiz to the club and had one of the best defenses in the league, I think if we kept any of THREE defensive midfielders we had, of which one was the best in the world(and was the best in the world cup last year) one of the other best in the world and one average but vastly better than we have now, we would have a solid defensive cover.
I think we can compete for each and every cup if we make these VERY slight changes that wouldn't have cost any money(if we stopped buying flops over and over and just brought the RIGHT player the FIRST time).
How many gooners on here think we have the best squad, the most depth or can easily win the league with very few changes.........no that would be me.
Oh, and fire the medical staff 8 years ago and we'd probably have 5-6 more trophies than we do right now.
