UEFA Champions League/Europa League 8/9/10 March *** Spoilers ***

No, it was a disgrace. And everyone of them was a foul, and the freekick he got he jumped ontop of Nesta and fell over, so probably 10 fouls really.

Haha. If a player refuses to jump for a header and bottles it against Crouch whilst he is jumping up for a header he is entitled to go for, he will fall ontop of the other player every time. No foul.

I wasn't paying too much attention today but I always felt Crouch was treated incredibly harshly by European refs when he was with us.

If a bloke of Crouch's size can;t win headers without putting his arms all over the defender then he shouldn't be on the pitch.

It's the look of "What have I done now?" that gets me, then they show the replay and he's all over the defender.

He's a waste of skin.

The problem is that he's so much bigger than the defenders in most cases. Short of jumping with his hands down by his side, his arms will always be in or around the defenders shoulder area.

As I said, not really based on today as I didn't pay much attention but I remember games where he got pushed and pulled all over the shop and free-kicks were being given against him.

Congratulations to Spurs, I really didn't expect it to finish goalless though as Milan looked so much more incisive of the teams - up to the point of actually scoring of course. I haven't seen too much of Spurs this season yet but Sandro looked pretty decent.

Aye it was weird, they did everything right up until the final ball, fully expected them to get one in the second half, luckily for Spurs Ibrahimovic just doesn't turn up against English teams.

Couldn't care less how Spurs won the tie, we are in the Quarters, all I would say is Sandro was immense, certainly found a player there.

While I fancy our chances against some of the teams left in the competition, it wouldn't be the end of the world in we drew Barca. Not really much/any chance of going through but how often do Spurs get to play Barca?

They are all pretty decent in the quarters, never an 'easy' game.

if we go out, we want to be going out against the best. we weren't great tonight, vdv wasn't fit and bale looked nervy but when they're back to their best we will bring a much better game. sandro also showed he can continue to step up.

No doubt they would all be very tough games, no easy games but bar a few, Barca/Madrid and maybe Bayern I would fancy our chances against any of them. But don't want to draw an English team, would seem like an anti-climax, its not as if we don't already play them enough.

Indeed, I didn't expect them to get through against ACM tbh but look at Shaktar, I didn't expect them to beat Roma neither

Their was some story about Crouch and why he is so crap at heading/wining the ball in the air, when he was younger he was above all kids in , so he never had to jump and just stood still and nodded it in, not sure if its true but considering how bad he is, some truth must be in it.

I heard it was something to do with the Circus he grew up in, he was holed up with the Monkeys apparently.
