UEFA Champions League/Europa League 8/9/10 March *** Spoilers ***

Who would have guessed it from Fellaini? Glad we continue to have that thug as our first choice player. Let's hope LvG takes him with him when he goes.

Excellent performance all around and the only shame was we didn't win by more.

Great fun watching Scholes at HT discussing the penalty. It's such a blatant foul the only question was whether it was in or outside the box and the replays showed it clearly continued inside the area - excellent call by the officials.

Strange performance from the ref today. He got the pen right but he was all over the place with the rest of his decisions. Can, Moreno, Rojo and Fellaini (earlier than he did) should have all been booked - they weren't even debatable decisions. And then not to give Fellaini a 2nd booking was laughable - even ignoring the elbow at the end, he gave away at least 3 fouls, including a carbon copy of what Henderson was booked for, after being booked and he didn't even get a talking to.
No idea who Allen could come on for unless Henderson's injured again. Everyone's playing quite well tonight.

The Allen sub had to happen. Utd's change at HT was starting to cause us problems by getting out numbered in midfield. Bringing Allen on and particularly for Sturridge was a masterstroke. Not only does Allen give us an extra pair of legs but suddenly Utd's 3 CB's are picking up nobody and Firmino, Lallana and Coutinho have more space to play between the lines.

Allen was immense when he came on too.
How has he not given Fellaini a card yet? Amazing.

Because Fellaini has something on every official around the world. There's never been such a dirty snidey **** in the history of the game yet he always gets away with it.
Can't wait for Baz to defend all the diving, its probably the refs fault right?

Shami you're not stupid, there's no need to act like you are.

You should probably blame your players more than the officials.

Or your manager. There is no sense in what he has done tonight.

losing to liverpool by **** officials is far worse than losing to west brom IMO

We got comprehensively battered, you can't complain. Everyone knew this was fairly likely as long as Liverpool turned up, and they didn't even have to be that good.

Nothing will get better until we're rid of LvG, the majority of this boils down to him.

Oh he can complain. He didn't stop complaining about the officials when we beat you 3-0 the other season.

yes but the decisions regarding the pen and not giving the second goal as offside doesn't help.

Well avoided :) See this is what happens when fans defend their own players cheating.

What happens? I've not defended anybody, I've equally not made a stupid statement like you have.

Coutinho dived, he got booked. What do you want me to say?

Valera dived and nothing happened. Skimming through the thread I see Clyne's been called out for diving but honestly watching the replay it looked like Fellaini catches him with a glancing touch to the bottom of his shin. Might be wrong though in which case, Clyne's a naughty boy.

Happy?
