It was reckless, should have been a red card. A ref agreed in the paper write up this morning.
I thought if the ref saw it during the game but chose not to act they couldn't do anything?

Even if it did warrant a red, UEFA don't issue retrospective punishments except in extreme situations. And like Purdy says as bad tackles go, it was far from the worst tackle we've seen - in fact I doubt you'd even get a consensus that it was a red.

Anyone know how to get rid of the annoying 'Video Menu' box on BT Sport Extra? I usually just press clear on the remote to get rid of red buttons but it doesn't work for that. Using tivo.
Edit - nvm, switched to the BT freeview channel to get rid. Picture quality is shocking on both.
