Think he normally plays on the left for Germany. I'd happily have him starting each week for Arsenal. Works hard, isn't actually bad at all, and isn't scared of shooting/probably the best finisher at the club.
 
Liverpool played well for 20 minutes in the first half and then could have been destroyed.

Yeah I don't think that's in doubt tbh. Ok Liverpool have zero chance of winning it but they will progress and make some extra cash. I feel for the Liverpool fans tbh, it's a real shame that Suarez did the whole bite thing and sod off. After getting there I think he should have had one go at it with them. They could have given some real exciting games in the CL playing like they did last year.

As long as he doesn't win it with Barca I don't care who wins it.
 
We were shocking, only Wilshere and Sanchez putting any effort in. Wait 70 mins for any subs, leaves the least effective player (Ramsey) on the pitch all game. I'm not sure how we've added a proper top player in Sanchez and some pace up front for a change how we are actually worse than last season. Our defensive crisis is all Wenger's doing. Seriously concerned about where we will finish in the league.

Defensive shambles - check
Persisting with a formation that doesnt work - check
Playing a striker that needs some movement/support with him but doesnt get it - check

Have to admit I'm concerned that Rodgers doesn't seem to be learning from mistakes, prior to this season that appeared to be a strength of his.

Real were outstanding though, and we should be grateful they took the foot off the gas. At least we didn't get slammed to the tune of 7 like Bayern last year.

I think if they weren't playing Barca this weekend they would have humiliated us.
 
Any of the Arsenal fans actually celebrate the goals yesterday or like me did you feel it was more of a shame on Anderlecht? We didn't deserve the win, probably didn't even deserve a point. It was a dreadful performance and unless we spend another 40 million in January I can't see us playing in the Champions League next season.

We've won two out of eight games this season. That is not a respectable tally for a club of our stature. That's bottom half of the table standard. We are only in 7th because we got lucky with a few draws against teams we should have beaten comfortably.
 
Come in number 45, your time is up. I don't care that he's not had long at the club - Balotelli will not make it as a Liverpool player. He should've been bang up for the game last night, but he just could not be arsed.
