I don't really understand why we shipped Varela out and kept Fosu Mensah tbh, Varela looked far better. Fosu Mensah just looks so awkward on the ball.
 
There's no chance Fellaini is going to be part of the Telegraph revelations is there?

The only thing I can think of is Mourinho wanted to take some of the heat of Rooney by having us play crap. Only explanation for this baffling lineup and performance.

Urgh this match is just a permanent face palm. How does Mourinho not know what players are good yet? It's just baffling. Give Carrick a new contract....then don't play him in a game perfect for him where we have 99% possession and are under no pressure.
 
The most amazing thing is how Zorya looked like a pub team in the first half and now they look confident enough to try and take something from us, solid work.

World class from Rooney. How people can say he doesn't make us a better team is beyond me.
