UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [4th - 6th November 2014]

lol at Flamini getting away with that, laughable decision, smashed the hell out of him and nothing.

EDIT:_ Ramsey thinks he's Ronaldo and tried to scored a freekick from about 35-40 yards... didn't come close, surprising.

Arsenal are turning into such a diving team, saw the guy coming and stepped away from the ball, took a minor nudge on the shoulder and went down, Sanchez a minute earlier acting like someone kicked him in the chest then straight back up, dived with zero contact for the freekick for second goal. We do it a heck of a lot now in every game. Ozil, Sanchez and Caz are all pretty consistent divers now.... in fairness to Ozil he's just a pathetic wimp rather than an intentional diver........................

and 3-3, pathetic Arsenal, pathetic. Gifted at least one goal, maybe two, against a crap team, at home, 3 goal lead.... how many teams would be capable of throwing that away.

Madrid have been disappointing. :(

Too often when Ronaldo is quiet the team is quiet, he struggles badly to play 2 games within 4-5 days currently. Like Messi 6 months ago, Costa currently. Hugely reduced running, he's running slow, sprinting far far less often. He's been quiet and could have had a few, just one of those nights.

It makes his scoring record all the more epic this season but I read an article on it yesterday, it's very clear if you watch all Real games but statistically he's put in a WAY higher number of chances and shots from within the box, a lot more tap in's. Less sprints, less running overall, less dribbles, or less longer dribbles(ie carrying it from half way line to the final third).

Rather like the fact Messi is scoring a LOT less as a proper right winger, he had his record scoring season playing basically as a striker. Due to Ronaldo's ongoing injury he's playing more like a striker than winger, more than ever before so it's not surprising he is scoring at a higher rate than ever before.

Better performance from Liverpool but Madrid were very average going forward, loads of chances but weren't clinical. Liverpool had no threat going forward whatsoever.

Hey don't forget we'll be laughing at Utd in 2017 when they are back in the CL :p

Maybe you will in 2015 too, but unlikely from such a relatively small team after being 3-0 up

Admittedly it doesn't look like it will matter much - BD will still be first in the group, and you are still likely to be 2nd.

Meh, we did okay, Ronaldo was absolutely **** which helped considerably along with Allen on the ball, hopefully Brendan has learnt from these two games if we ever get the chance again.

Away fans did decent too :)
