** Uefa Champions League, Semi-final ** *spoilers*

lol . I had this in my signature before Macheda had even played for the senior side thank you, and 100% games to goals in the league makes it justified ;).

My point was, people were going on and on and on and on and on about Messi, I was one of the few that said he'd do nothing more than he did against Man Utd and it was a carbon copy performance. Went nowhere, slack passes and no penetration.

yes we all know how you're THE football expert in this country, and if you keep telling us every day you might even start to believe it yourself one day ;)

how can Messi dribble through 4-5 defenders on the edge of the box, Chelsea never turned up to play football tonight ....hopefully the next leg won't be so boring.

I never said I was. I merely watch football and comment honestly, if I'm proven wrong I'll be the first to say it and many people will back me up on that. My point is, people would give it Messi this, Messi that none stop.

I just watch a lot of football, be it my team or any other, premier league or lower league, foreign or reserve. I think I'm fairly knowledgeable, yes. But I don't brag about it, so your comment regarding me being a 'jizz lobber', whilst making me laugh, is a mile wide of the mark and then saying I'm THE football expert just seems a bit of a daft personal statement, although I will admit I think I'm more knowledgeable in the modern game than some so called 'professionals'.

When Drogba actually turns up that's debatable.

Torres is much more consistent though.

Torres being more consistent makes him much better in my opinion.
Torres seems to be more clinical and more motivated.

Drogba, in refusing to play for "Big Phil" lost all my respect as a proffessional footballer.

He clearly didn't like the manager, and didn't want to play for him, you can't have someone as temermental as that as you're main striker.

Anelka is a more complete player in my opinion.

Torres is a different type of player!

How ?
Because he isn't big and black ?

Torres is a fast, powerful forward.
Drogba is a fast, powerful forward, who also dives, and is a **** off the pitch by all accounts.

They shouldn't have to do... what Rooney / Gerrard / Lampard do.
They are both paid to recieve the ball, and score.

Torres seems better at this.

all armchair experts think that, your mother might call you special but so do many mothers.

I think I'm fairly knowledgeable, yes. But I don't brag about it

Anelka is technically a better player but he doesn't fit in at chelsea imo.

I agree with your opinion on Drogba, he acted like a 12 year old kid who had been dropped by his manager because some competition came along

Temperamental :p ?

Not really an armchair expert. I watch a phenomenal amount of football.

I merely made that comment in retort to your frankly ridiculous statement. 3 in a row and this one is a borderline personal attack. Grow up.
In regards to that comment, Torres is a Striker, not a Forward. Messi, Ronaldo and Rooney are some of the top forwards in the World so it goes without saying they are up there.

lol i love the way people pick up on one mistake but forget the numerous positive things he did.

Did you not expect Eto'o to breach the chelsea defense once?

Marquez had about 10% of the work terry had to do and made a much more substantial mistake.

I love the way when people over emhpasis a players performance when the majority of the work was done by the midfiled, as Tummy said.

On the one ocassion that Terry was trully isolated from a quick break when the midfiled wasn't there to cover him and only for Alex to put pressure on Eto'o, otherwise Eto'o would have probably scored.

On the occasion where he was tested, he was pwnd.
