Didn't Carroll give away the free kick they scored from as well with that reckless tackle? Can't be doing that.

Young was poor though as well, but he generally does well for England. I don't think he really knew what his role was, seemed confused.

We'll be better at keeping the ball with Rooney back as he'll drop into midfield. I imagine Welbeck will start with him (unless Rooney is up top by himself).
 
I think we'll just end up being embarrassed against Spain or Germany though, should we face them. I know Chelsea proved you can defend and win but England just won't manage that.

They're just so, so strong and we seem to fit in more with the likes of Poland and Sweden than any of the 'big' teams. :( :o
 
I thought Ashley Cole was poor as well, anyone else?

Considering we think he's more or less the best LB in the world, he hasn't done very well in the last 2 games. :(

Does anyone else think Roy has told them to park the bus and go for the draw unless they can score from a set piece? Seems like it. :(
