Open football, no, but defending badly and struggling against Ukraine isn't good news.

The worst thing about this Milner needs to cover Johnson stuff is that Milner hasn't covered Johnson half the time. Just before HT Milner's just jogging back and it was Gerrard that was having to fill in for him.

Yeah, Milner is there to cover Johnson and help out defensively but he's not even good at that.

He's slow, donkey-like and doesn't cross well most of the time.

Rooney done well. We need him and Carroll up front next game

I agree with the latter part, I think we have to try Rooney and Carroll, as good as Welbeck can be at times he doesn't pose as much of a physical threat and can't occupy defenders like Carroll.

Rooney has done okay, thankfully he's scored so that's a good start. I expect better from him in the next game though.

I don't think the Ukraine manager is very happy:

Blokhin says he doesn't want to criticise refs & assistants then proceeds to do exactly that. 'THE BALL WAS 50cms OVER THE LINE'

Blokhin also accusing ref & assistants of missing Carroll elbow & criticising them for not booking Terry. 'Why do we need these 5 referees?'

Oleg Blokhin now challenging a Ukraine journalist to continue their argument 'outside'. We don't get this with Hodgson
