UEFA Euro 2016 - Round of 16 **spoilers** (25th - 27th June)

I don't know why we aren't giving Barkley a shot, his form hasn't been the best but he is a player with a bit of guile who can break down defences with an unexpected move.

Bring a player with no end product and basically just pace whose only remote usefulness can be on a break and counterattack against a team who's going to be sitting back and defending deeply, now that is some managerial prowess. I'd rather see a vanilla 4-4-2 with Vardy and Kane up front and just send long balls into the box all day over that.

Italy XI: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; De Rossi; Florenzi, Parolo, Giaccherini, Di Sciglio; Pelle, Eder.

Spain XI: De Gea; Juanfran, Pique, Ramos, Jordi Alba; Busquets; Fabregas, Iniesta; Silva, Morata, Nolito.

No, just no.

Barkely spins on the spot before being tackled; Stirling runs in a straight line directly into the first group of opposition players he can find (does Stirling think he *is* the ball?)

Both of them give the ball away almost every time they're in possession. Neither of them do anything remotely useful.
