UEFA Euro 2016 - Round of 16 **spoilers** (25th - 27th June)

I'd rather have a good manager.

That's not to say I didn't think Roy was an okay appointment originally. Right now though, there aren't any good English amnagers available.
What about ones that are already employed? The thing is, who could we possibly entice to become England manager, foreign or not?

England women's national football team plays much better than this lot.total disgrace and
embarrassing to be british people.something was wrong right from the start none of them wanted to play to the standerd that they should have. why on earth was sterling started for ?? sturridge didn't seem to want to play, rooney passing was awful and the amount of times he gave the ball away was disgrace and then we got kane taking corners gapsmacked he should have been in the box and then we got joe hart did he spill some head & shoulder shampoo on his gloves again.

ps alan shearer for next england manager he's young, got passion

Gareth Southgate isn't that bad a choice at least he knows which system and starting 11 he wants to play.

Why Hodgson ever got the job, I'll never understand. Why he was allowed to continue as long as he has, I'll never understand.

When he was first talked about as possibly getting the job I warned everybody what was to come. Hodgson cannot manage a side that's expected to win games. He just doesn't know how to do it and that couldn't have been clearer in this tournament.

We've seen some **** England sides over the years but nothing has been nearly as bad as this side. To Hodgson's defence this is the poorest group of players we've had in a long time - the likes of Walker, Cahil, Smalling, Rose, Dier would have never got a look in at previous times. The fact that we've ended up with Rooney in midfield and Alli starting after barely a season of top flight football, and Wilshere making the squad despite barely kicking a ball in a season shows how poor our midfield options are. Even the quality of our strikers has been massively exaggerated - we've got a few decent strikers but only 1 true top class one and he's injured 90% of the time. Despite all that, Hodgson's taken an average squad and built a ****ing terrible side. There was no shape, no system and no idea what we were doing. The fact that we played **** 3 games running and Hodgson still wouldn't make a change for todays game tells you just how capable he was for the job.

I've mentioned a few times that Hodgson killed international football for me, hopefully his successor can revive it.
