UEFA Euro 2016 - Semi-finals **spoilers** (6th & 7th July)

Pundits saying France were the better side. Not from what I saw. Germany could have had 4-5 if they could hit the target. Created plenty of chances.

What was happening with Thierrys face there when they said about Griezeman equalling his total.

Can't believe Portugal made it to the final, mad, thought they would be there or there abouts come the last 8 but not the final. I have them in the OCUK sweepstake too haha

I want the French to absolutely batter Portugal now, Portugal winning the whole thing is up their with Greece winning in 2004.

Did you miss both of France's goals and create one for Germany?

Huh, France got a questionable penalty and Germany made some pretty poor mistakes for their second, apart from that they created little. Germany missed a good 7-8 good chances and on most days they would have put at least 2-3 of them away.

The result doesn't dictate the better team

7-8 chances? No way, they had maybe a couple of alright chances. Considering Griezmann had that amazing chance in the first half and another really good one 10 mins or so from time, plus Giroud's appalling run through on goal, I think they had better quality chances.

They easily had that many. In the last 20 minutes they had at least 5. They missed a lot. Just because they didn't even hit the target with most of them doesn't mean they weren't good chances. The germans dominated most of the game as well. I'm not counting Girouds chance either because he didn't get anywhere near the goal before the chance was ruined.

Germany were the much better team in the 1st half but seemed to collapse after that penalty. Seemed to properly take the wind out of their sails.
