UEFA Euro 2016 - Semi-finals **spoilers** (6th & 7th July)

Did they take Gameiro? I thought they did but we've not seen him. He deserves a game ahead of Gignac who has been garbage.

The 3rd best team in Spain, you'd think one of the big boys in England would break the bank for him.

He's young too, totally worth on the evidence of the last few years.

3rd best team in Spain is lightyears of anything in the EPL.

Do Germany have any strikers that could have come? it's crazy that they still have only Gomez and a couple of players that can kind of fill in there.

Twice to the CL final in 3 years is not a bad record for even the top 3 teams in europe.

I thought everyone was mental not going in for him. Stupid thing is he was cheap, was improving and was already excellent while Atletico weren't that strong financially. The English clubs could at the time blow Atletico out of the water with wages. Now with the fairer La Liga tv money deal and with reaching two CL finals, improved sponsorship deals that come with that, while Atletico still don't have Utd/City/Chelsea money, they can certainly afford 1-2 players on the kind of wages UTd/City can afford because they don't pay the whole team silly money.

He loves spain, loves Atletico, good luck any of the English teams being able to persuade him away now.

Muller's got to be in with a shout for flop of the tournament, barely contributed a pass in any of the games he's played.

He was always just a decent striker for Munich.

For some reason he just shone in the WC stages, which isn't exactly a bad thing.

I just think Muller is best as a secondary forward, he offers nothing on his own up there. It's criminal that Germany don't have another option except bring on other secondary forwards like Gotze.

Haha

Muller has been incredible for a long time. Like 6 years at least. He's incredibly gifted and has the most ridiculously uncanny ability to pop up in the right place and slot it home.

A bad stint in the euros and suddenly he's only decent... Don't be daft now

They have Gomez but he was injured so out of the tournament.

FFS Germany, what a terrible performance tonight.

Congrats to France, now to see them destroy Ronaldo and his team of jammy barstewards.

I think he's world class and up there with the best in the game in his position but he's been utter **** this tournament. Not sure if he's gassed or just woefully out of form but I wouldn't take him in the England team on current form :p
