I just got home and heard about this. Female talkradio presenter saying she's about to to speak to Harry Redknap and is asking 'will the competition now be cancelled'. What? All it means is Denmark might pull out.

I think if the outcome today was bad, I think that would have been a valid question to put forward

It was sickening to watch, I couldn't believe they kept showing them doing CPR while the players were trying to cover him. Apparently Danish TV showed on aerial footage from very high above so nothing could be seen. They should have cut straight to the studio.

I hope he really in conscious and makes a full recovery, thoughts are with his family.

I don't see how they can't. They need to go and fight for him, they can't put ending the whole campaign on his shoulders.

they should’ve just cut back to the studio, having the camera pointed at him and seeing the medic giving chest compressions, nobody needs to see that.

From reports on social media they continued to keep showing the footage from the overhead camera on Danish TV long after BBC cut away. We've got used to not being shown this kind of footage but it wasn't that long ago that footage like that would be shown here. I'm sure lots of countries didn't cut away like the BBC did. I was watching the MotoGP on Eurosport when Marco Simoncelli was killed in an horrific crash in 2011. They repeated the footage again and again and again when it was immediately obvious that he was dead on the track.

Yeah that's hugely surprising. Not sure how they can expect the players to go back out tonight.

True. If he'd died, it would have been very difficult for the competition to continue with any sort of joy, and probably seen as disrespectful to continue.
