Home with some beers and pizza. Not going out to the pub. Not sure how to watch it since we don't have a TV. May have to be the radio or a reaction stream at worse :(
got internet? ITV hub player will livestream it. It's not the best player, but it works just about. (France v Portugal excepted)

radio 5 live is the next best thing. I find their coverage better than either TV channel and usually play that over the TV images, though it's harder to get a perfect sync when it's on ITV as BBC offer a streamable version with r5 commentary already overlaid.

Just had a look. No live pause or watch from beginning on ITV.

Shame it's not on BBC tonight. Well it's only really a shame for me, not everyone else :p

what seriously? Why

you must have a pc / laptop so will be able to stream. Should be on itv player

someone will probably be streaming it on YouTube / twitch anyway

ITV 720p and stereo sound in 2021

Its an utter joke that they are showing these games at such poor quality. The app on my smart TV (the ripe old age of ~2 years old) won't stream it live from ITV hub either. BBC app streams at UHD and the picture is perfect. ITV stream is crap and stutters.

ITV player is woeful I agree. I dislike the BBC player defaulting to "best available" which continually seems to limit me to <720p quality when it handles 1080p and higher streams regularly with no issue when I can manually set the bandwidth e.g. in youtube etc. That's really annoying. But nothing like as annoying as the ITV stutter/freeze/total drop outs I've had over the course of this tournament.

Tonight at home by myself and the cat :)

Can’t be drinking on a school night.

at home with the mrs, we did pizza last week. We've got food to use up so no takeout sadly, but I did remember to chill some beers this morning. Reminder to anyone who's forgotten - get them in the fridge now while there's still time!

Ah right. BBC doesn't do that does it?
no BBC let's you watch from the beginning so long as the broadcast hasn't ended when you start playing it. You can also therefore rewind and re-watch say a tackle, or goal or whatever.

The annoying thing is you can't then fast speed to catch up which annoys me. Why not let a late-comer 1.5x or 2x speed watch until rejoining the live feed? This obsession with "it must be 1x speed" does my nut. Same with Amazon. I don't care let it be my choice. Documentaries on 1.5x are great and it can be the difference between watching a whole programme during the commute or having to chop off 10-15 minutes (which then doesn't fill the next journey) etc.

Oh but it's an art form and needs to be viewed that way... rubbish. It's up to me if I want to try and watch a bit more in the limited TV watching time I have available. You'd actually get me watching more of your content as a result. Which is better for their viewing figures?

Takeaways must make a killing on nights like this, tempted to get something myself

I think we got this win in the bag. Though I reckon that's what Italy are feeling when they look at this side of the bracket.

So far most of the games for me have barely looked 360p quality streaming :( I couldn't even get UHD or anything close to it via the app, etc.

Evenings like this are one of the times i'll absolutely not even consider a takeaway anymore, previous experience tells me it usually results in waiting ages, food being cold, food being wrong etc. :p

Edit - oh joy, forgot we get to go back to substandard ITV coverage for this one. Hopefully the next major tournament has clauses that matches must be broadcast in UHD in one form or another otherwise the carrier can't bid.
