I don't think anybody has blamed him for that. He's being blamed for not winning the game in 120 minutes vs a far inferior side.

No, people are blaming Ole for failing to coach the team to be able to break down teams like this, waiting until the 100th+ minute to make his first sub, for getting his tactics wrong.

Everyone will know I love Ole to bits but the game should have been a no brainer. Even if we won the shootout it would have painted over the cracks of a poor final. Next season will be his last season. He needs to sort out being able to break down teams that sit behind the ball or he is gone by next summer.

I don't think this game really makes any difference to Ole. This isn't an isolated game. We have seen this sort of thing god knows how many times under Ole.
He will get next season where will be maybe get top 4 but thats it. He will limp out of the club.

No blame on De Gea for that, shouldn't relying on your gk to score an 11th penalty. Our game management tonight was shocking. Villarreal came out with a plan to sit 11 men behind the ball and play for set pieces/penalties and we played into their hands.
To be honest, looking at Ole's CV, there are LOADS of better managers.
He's had a fair crack at it, and done some good, but he's wayyyyyyyyyyy short in too many areas.
