i'm not so sure, if they were that belligerent then they'd wipe themselves out before getting to the interstellar phase of their civilisation, which means they're almost certainly to be as peaceful if not moreso than humanity.

of course that doesn't preclude the obvious dangers of first contact- like alien flu killing us all, or our visiting species having gamma based eyesight or something weird like that.
 
Profile matches other sightings from Iran and Syrian conflict zones, etc. (some of which are supposedly fake though) I suspect more likely it is some kind of drone.

Tbh even aliens being confirmed would be less of a reality shock than the tangerine nightmare becoming president.

They'd be branded ********* ******** and "sent back" in the current climate.
 
Waiting on confirmation from Flat Earth Society now.

I'd imagine it's something to do with dark matter and magnetism from the north pole and the southern crust causing high speed revolutions

On the other hand I bet the reason they haven't revealed themselves is they don't want our kind claiming asylum and stinking up their planet. It'd be like us taking in neanderthals. :p

If they are advanced enough then we may be like bacteria compared to them. If you are thinking of traditional hostility like you see portrayed in star trek, then yea it would not be like that.
 
If we were advanced enough to be able to travel to other planets and discovered other intellectual lifeforms, would we reveal ourselves ? Knowing that it would change that particular planet forever, or would we just scout and let them be ? All this being relevant to if we had run out of our own resources.

This was first detected at 80,000 feet, that's 15 miles. It's almost space. You know what also flies at 80,000 feet? The SR-71 Blackbird when it used to fly.

The report also said that it accelerated nothing he's seen before, the jet's couldn't get any closer since it kept out-pacing them.

On top of that, it was going fast enough and was big enough to make the sea below it "churn" 50ft below it, on top of it being able to rotate at that speed and rotate sideways at that speed all against the wind. lol

of course its extremely unlikely to be the case, given our inane curiosity in every direction that we'd last longer than any other species at failing to discover something so fundamental.

Its always this, the pilots merely saw a military aircraft they knew nothing of. Just look at the timing of the release and what else is in the news.
 
It does look rather bizarre because all i got was a Samsung Gear advert on the link. Would someone like to describe the video? .......
