Nah, UF-Pro for me. Better fit for my long limbs, better pockets for stuff, very hard wearing and notably cheaper than Arc'teryx while being made by adult professionals in Slovenia rather than kid slaves in some Eastern sweatshop.

Actually no, I empathise, because it's the same feeling they experience, just at a different time of year and with different stimuli. But I do empathise with them, one of my work colleagues is a SAD sufferer and we often discuss it.

Ok, so if you empathise, you must agree it’s only fair to have hot/cold weather over the year to give everyone periods of relief?

Yeah, some of it is pretty insane, but you don't have to go all-black... unless you really are a member of GSG-9, or something.
A surprising amount of their stuff seems to end up in sci-fi TV shows. They're distinctive enough that I've seen several bits in The Expanse.
But like I said, walking out in -11ºC wearing the OL jacket, it was so warm and comfy I was worried about overheating!
 
I know it's not been the coldest winter, but it really feels like this one dragged on and that warm weather was so long ago. I can't wait for lighter evenings and spring/summer.

Some of their stuff does look quite practical tbf, not cheap though!
