UK Gladiators - 2024 reboot

My mate had a personal video message from Diane (Jet) a couple of years ago, he had a company called class fundraising in newcastle, which was based on raising funds for schools by printing kids drawings onto tea towels, and cups etc, he actually started that model of buisness that a lot of people copied, anyway, she moved close to newcastle and thought that class fundraising was a charity that just made money for different causes and sent him and his business partner a video message each, offering her services, if they could use her for anything, it's mental because I remember he used to have a poster of her on his bedroom wall, she looked okay in the video for her age, but that accident she had that flattened her nose and almost broke her neck did nothing for her looks, I think she might have had some plastic surgury done to try and sort that out, but at the time, i'm watching this message and just thought that she had a big nose from drinking too much or something
My mate didn't tell his wife that he had had a personal message from Jet, lol!
I thought it showed her character well though, moving to a new place, then offering her services as a famous person to aid a charity, or two

Anyone want to cross reference in this thread how many people "Don't pay for a TV license" and "Don't watch the BBC" :D
I think that the viewers whose watching habits are recorded to help work out audience viewershoip, probably have to have a TVlicense to do the" job" ( idk if it is paid for those people whose watching habits are tracked, or if it is something people do for free)

I was bored - There were others but they didn't explicitly say they watched the new Gladiators, unlike:
Yeah, I've had this current house since 2006 and they visited just the one time in 2009. I wasn't in when it happened, but had some guys around fitting in a new bathroom for me. They told TV licensing to do one lol

I left home in 1998 without a TV and just got used to not having one. I just watch YouTube which is more relevant than TV because it's by real people. Films I just stick in the computer's blu-ray or occasionally hit the big screen.

If it's just legal occupier then they can't do anything at all.

I get letters all the time. I used to worry but now I know the truth, I just bin without opening. Only had one actual visit in last 5 years.

When I answered the buzzer I said not today and hung up.

Signal detection is a myth.
They try to get personal info out of you which they would need in a case against you.
They snoop around your house and try to talk their way into your house to check out your tv situation, to get enough grounds for a case against you.
They try to get you to admit guilt, to get grounds for a case against you.

Basically never identify yourself to someone who knocks on your door, as is standard practice for any rando who comes knocking.
Never continue a conversation with them, as is standard for any rando who comes knocking.
And never let them in your house, as is standard for any rando who comes knocking.

Very good @VincentHanna but I finally got myself a TV in March 2022! It's funny that you didn't find any of my posts about me getting the TV :p One of my posts (fairly recent actually) was about that I won a tribunal and I was able to get a few things with it, the TV being one of them. Plus, 90s programmes were starting to get reboots and that was what got me interested again. The TV license itself I pay £80 for because I get the blind git allowance :-)

Powerfully still packs a punch.

That new edge game. OMG that's high up. Watched the new Australian Gladiators during thweek. It was awful, their Edge is only a few feet off the ground. Wimps.
