Very good age indeed. He was the voice of Gladiators. RIP.
The Wikipedia (2024) article states that 12 new episodes were recorded in August 2024 and will air in early 2025 for series 2. The extra episode is meant to be a celeb opener, followed by the 11-ep format like in series 1. All of the Glads are returning, and the event roster will be updated to include more games from the original 90s run.
Surprised they waited until 2025 to air. Would have been good about now.
But then it would be competing on a saturday night with Strictly
I’m missing Sabre.

I do also love watching Fury batter people in powerball and the one that's a lattice above a big net, whatever that's called.

In terms if fitness, Joel should also easily pip rob in this.

She did alright on the first event TBF. Then fell over a flat floor.

The assists were obvious but the final winners were the correct ones.
Compared to the regular competitors especially up the cargo net really shows the difference in fitness.

I don’t disagree but I also think it shows how good some of the regular contenders really are.
The glads were taking it pretty easy but the eliminator was a bit weak. That said, I doubt any of the celebs would have got round the regular one, except perhaps Joel.
They all looked shattered before the eliminator even started.
I just took it for what it’s meant to be to be, a bit of light hearted New Year’s Day fun and not a serious competition like the regular show.
