Just go into your router/modem settings and disconnect/reconnect, it does a round robin so you go onto the next pipe. :)

would explain a couple of things.

For some reason i can only get about 600kbs rate when i connect wireless. I plugged my laptop into the router using a patch cable, got 4000kbs rate. Tried wireless again, got the same rate.

tried my pc upstairs wireless, got a rubbish rate.

I've been playing with wireless settings and drivers for hours and can't get it connecting right.

my router thinks it's connected at 5600kbps......i can only get about 80-100kbps download most of the time.

Then out of the blue on my laptop i start getting 460kbps....but the desktop stays pants!

doing my nut in!!!!!
