If you have examples on how the Russian military is utilising service support well then share because I think many of us will be surprised.
I never made such an assertation - I was just asking if Worthy could share the video where he learnt what he posted because it was a pretty great video and I can't put my hands on it.

well, plenty of people in this thread have stated thst Putin should be shot. Should these posters be permabanned or do we sllow freedom of expression within the confines of this specific context

Sure, for a UK forum of anonymous people I think it's fine.

For Facebook it's a bit different because people are identifiable, the platform is huge, the audience is vast (and public), Putin will use it as a[ propaganda tool to argue that the West is encouraging anti-Russian sentiment, and it could be interpreted as incitement or hate speech depending on the jurisdiction you live in.

On OCUK you could have a handful of people expressing these views. On Facebook it could cascade into hundreds of thousands.

- It was important for FMs of Russia, Ukraine to meet in Türkiye
- Need to establish humanitarian corridors for aid and evacuations now
- Nuclear rhetoric coming from Russia's Putin is reckless

Glad to see Russia are hitting those Nazi military targets...

BBC News said:
We've received video footage showing the aftermath of this morning's air strike on Dnipro, in central-eastern Ukraine.

It's the first time the city has been targeted by Russian forces.

Officials say there were three air strikes: hitting a shoe factory, an apartment block and a kindergarten. One person was killed.

~Just what we need right now! (sorry for offtopic)

He is probably just jealous Putin took the spotlight from him, so is waving his toy box around......

If Putin is saying Syrians can go fight in UK and will even transport them, then surely that is all EU/NATO needs to maybe get governments to greenlight their military can also go to Ukraine un-officially too, but will happily pay the flight cost as well?

The longer it drags on, the more chance of WW3 seems likely but on the flip side I am just feeling its Putin buying time and hoping he can take control of Ukraine whilst trying to move attention elsewhere and to keep holding peace talks which go nowhere. To me he is simply buying time.

EU/US/UK send the defensive missile systems, arm Ukraine to the teeth, we won't close the skies so give Ukraine a means to defend against any air strike/attack with the latest defence systems and lots of them and maybe slip a few attack drones on the shipments. ;)

Russian economy and clearly defence spending and strategy has probably sacrificed in areas over the years, that with it only recently trying to bring it up to a professional standard are now on display. In a very complex large-scale op like invading a large country on multiple fronts.... your defence strategy and defence spending is going to be front and centre through performance.

Which is a good example of how our recent defence reviews can backfire if and when. It's all good and well cutting defence because it isn't a vote winner but it shows up when we need top tier military action to run well.

Recently Boris suggesting future wars will not be conventional and all cyber... hopefully this has readjusted this new obsession for military spending to be "cyber" focused.
Britain would be very unlikely to attack a large country not as part of an alliance. Much of our capability is in defence of the country and its allies. Force projection is largely the Navy and marine elements.

I do wish Ukraine would just let Crimea and the two republics go even if it is rationalising Putin's ******** as well as being demoralising it at least offers an off ramp.

The problem comes when that isn't sufficient, but who knows what their acceptable compromise is.

I think Zelensky has seen that with western weapons coming in they perhaps don’t necessarily need full nato membership. So cooling talk of joining gives Putin the out he needs after this cluster …. of an operation.
He can then move Ukraine toward EU membership while improving their defences to make sure this becomes even harder for Russia to ever attempt again.
Maybe.

Well maybe it makes their administration stronger as they get even more control of the people, if their is no Western influence there its cuts the people of from the West completely, so the people only options will be Russian home made stuff as to speak. So for Putin I guess that can be spun as a positive, but for the people nope, its terrible but it is clear Putin has little regard for life and even his own people as proven in Ukraine. But Putin does risk alienating a lot of his rich friends who make substantial money from the West.
