There is no Ru-Cn-In-Sa pact. India's Modi likes Putin and China likes Russia on an "enemy of my enemy" basis, but India and China loathe each other.

Initially BRICS lead for trade, and there was a decidedly open move with regard to military but - as you've pointed out - China was very concerned with the Indo-Russian military collaborations that it took the unusual step of issuing a 'pamphlet' within China highlighting the the threat. Also Indiantimes also highlights the fragmentation: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com...a-is-cagey-on-russia/articleshow/90500215.cms

So things aren't rosy as you'd expect with with an ageing neighbour with both a chip on their shoulder and a nuke button.

The question and my point is - even if they don't like each other, there is benefit that allowing particular action benefits your goals without express communication. So action that russia is performing provides opportunity that can be leveraged (I had that word) with China's own plans. However you're right I need to re-look at the "Asia pac" collaboration again.

I don't get why Moldova doesn't just unite with Romania already as even ignoring the separatist region it's not like Moldova can sustain being sovereign for much longer as it's youth flees destitution. Only going to get worse as investment completely disappears and being neutral clearly won't save them.
