Definitely not the truck.

I suspect the trick is to make those sections "jump" and let gravity find the weak points in construction. They may also have just got lucky, because it seems likely to me (anyway) that the plan was to detonate that fuel train -- presumably running to a predictable schedule -- in a more spectacular fashion than actually happened.

I'm inclined to think it was a truck bomb because of the nature of the initial explosion. But at this stage we're all just having fun with speculation.

The boat makes much more sense here, explosion underneath the bridge causing that section to "jump", they've detonated the boat under the road bridge as it's closer to the water even though the train bridge is way more valuable... timing it with the fuel train if intentional is a stroke of genius though.

I reckon it was this:

I wonder how "usable" the bridge really is, the Russkis have probably cable tied it back together.

Daily fail has picked up on the boat thing, could well be that or perhaps a bigger version, that photo might well be more be of a recce version.

Well it's not 'fixed' the other span is still 'usable' to some degree and the fact that they're only doing limited groups means they're going slow having to check everything much more closely. Even if they get that span working in either direction again it's still gone from 4 to 2 lanes along with a likely cargo limit on both it and the adjacent railway as overloading either would be much more embarrassing even if the frontline suffers.

Point is it’s repairable, unlike what I mentioned above

So the Wagner guy that got arrested but seemingly not arrested enough is saying the Defense minister and Chief have 'resigned'.

Edit: Apparently poopy translation, it was planned (according to him) that they resign but delayed due to the bridge event.

Shoigu? (Or whatever his name is, has resigned?)

Seems like Russia may be trying to convert this into a merc war.

A 1980s movie with Russians having a military exercise on a border and then invasion. Also the mass panic in supermarkets like covid. Never seen it before, but interesting so far.

Been reading reports that youtube have been de-monetising all YT creators who have been covering the war, even those like Perun who went out of their way not to sensationalise or show tasteless content.
