Ukraine Invasion - Please do not post videos showing attacks/similar

We have not seen tanks roll across Europe as in the Soviet style war plans during the cold war. The use of tanks in Ukraine has largely been inhibited by the courage of Ukraine and the supply of anti tank weaponry. Your point is as invalid as usual and just a personal attack on a politician you dislike.

Also off topic.

Your blind jumping to the defense of Boris is quite embarrassing to be honest.

Amazing. One country launches an unprovoked attack upon another, unleashing a wave of atrocities and horror with 100,000’s dead, millions displaced and untold economic shockwaves felt across the world, but the real victim here is Boris Johnson, because somebody saw an opportunity to say something mean about him.

I think this is kind of irrelevant. The criticism was of Boris being wrong about tanks, when in fact he was sort of right, tanks have been getting tanked left right and centre due to javalin and other anti-tank missiles. The strength of them as a weapon has become vastly neutralised. Sending tanks in alone, is something that Russia thought it could do, which has proven to be neutralised as a method of invasion in 2022

Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic: To mark his 70th birthday, we delivered yet another gift to aggressor Putin. Another two new Zuzana2 howitzers are now in Ukraine (and much more to come)

Now that's a proper bit of kit. It looks exactly like something I would have drawn when I was 7.

Christ, that looks like they've strapped a naval gun to a motorised flatbed.

This conflict is becoming quite the sales pitch for some NATO countries to advertise their latest kit.

Also we're finding out the weaknesses as well. The much touted Panzerhaubitze 2000's have started to breakdown due to the intensity the Ukrainians are using them. Hopefully this will lead to improved designs going forwards.

The operational tempo of this kind of war is very different as well - they've been finding ammo supplies for a system which would be like a weeks worth of fighting in say Afghanistan are getting used up in 10 minutes fighting against Russia.

If it was a missile then it's either a captured Iskander or Ukraine has been able to get more munitions for their Hrim-2 system which was also likely used for those strikes in Crimea weeks ago. Not sure ATACMS works out range/yield-wise for this but then I suppose it's not impossible they could have sneaked a system closer to the target.

Explosion was surely too big for a single rocket?

IMO looked too large and relatively low power compared to the visual size of the explosion for an MGM-140 family missile - the explosion would be more typical of an improvised truck bomb but the profile of the damage and relative lack of debris is not typical neither is the smoke colour albeit the high and constant wind currents over the bridge might be distorting that. Bit puzzling really.

Would not be surprised if this was a Russian inside job; just one section was collapsed and pretty precisely - leaving the other road operational.

the other bridges taken out had holes blasted in the platform or the supports blown up.

Missile or drone like I said, the interesting point of this though means the ring of Air defence around the bridge is either not actually there or wasn't turned on, it wouldn't be the first time they've been caught napping

Can't see it being a drone - that kind of explosion is beyond the payload of most drones. Most of the damage seems to have been done by intense heat rather than blast - I don't know enough about the FAE warheads for the Iskander to know if it could be what was used here.

There is CCTV footage showing what appears to be the bow of a boat underneath one of bridge supports just before the explosion took place. A kamakazie vessel would make sense give an explosion under the bridge would do far more damage then anything striking it from on top.
