He is disliked because he's a troll. He goes out of his way to upset people, he appears to revel in it. His tweets on Ukraine handing over parts of their country to Russia and Taiwan handing over part of their country to China are just stupid and irresponsible in the extreme.

There is a Elon thread though so back on topic.

Some of these countries are hostile, they just have to suppress it because they can't do anything about it and need to get by day to day and upsetting the US would affect that.

Wagner lost so many of their experienced mercs that they had to run a huge recruitment drive to get more, they are accepting just about anyone now so they are not as good as they once were.
 
Whelp - aside from the WW1 like images/footage from Bakhmut area - looks like some of the front lines are barely 500m apart if that.

To be honest he didn't really have a choice, his withdrawal of the service was causing him so much negative press and social media negativity that it could have been the end of his happy go lucky character.

Someone like him needs the limelight, he couldn't handle negativity to him or his brands.

So again, the Ukrainians aren't complaining, it's only keyboard warriors safe in the UK who are complaining whilst they live safe in their homes rather than the Ukrainians who are using Starlink to fight for their lives.

He's provided essential services which have directly influenced the outcome of the war so far, but idiots don't care about that, their feelings are hurt which is far more important than Ukrainian lives apparently.
