Lets talk about Nazis in Ukraine.
Yes of course there are despicable people who will always be despicable even after this war is long finished.

Is it just Ukraine though, no of course not, every eastern European has this very same problem. Russia has one of the worst Nazi problems but lets skip over that.

Look at Poland, Sebia.......the list goes on they all have Nazis, they come out at football matches etc for all the world to see.

But what about UK are we sweet and innocent in this regard, no we are certainly not, we have as many along with france, germany..... western Europe is not innocent either.

So when you talk about Nazis they are not organised into armies to take over the world, they are just sad groups of idiots who have nothing better to do.

Nazi's or plain fascists though? Often the two get used interchangeably due to historical reasons (Germany and Italy in WW2) but the two a different. If someone is far right they will often get called Nazi out of ignorance or laziness (or likely both) when in actual fact there more likely to be a fascist who doesn't hold the more extreme white supremacists and ultra racist view points you would associate with an actual Nazi.

I think the actual number of people who identify as 'Nazis' or 'neo Nazi's' are actually few and far between especially in western democratic states but you'll probably find upwards of 10% of the population would hold views that would put them under the fascist umbrella. I've always believed the pollical landscape of a country fits that of a traditional bell curve and at the ends is where you would find your fascists and communists.

When talking about eastern Europe though it shouldn't come as a surprise there more right wing then western Europe (well Italy seems to have trumped them though), people there spent decades under the yoke of a repressive, authoritarian, brutal marxist regimes there bound to go the way and get as far away from those kind of politics as possible. To give it some context after WW2 Germany went through a peirod of de-Naziifcation where Nazi symbols, books, monuments were destroyed and takeaway the same thing is happening across eastern Europe where Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia are all removing their old communist centric/era statues and war monuments. In Ukraine they have gone as far as banning the old communist party and virtually all of their successor socialist parties (suspected of passing information onto Russia).

Not sure where he is getting that figure from, but I recall some similar posting by that user in the past, it is more like 0.01% [actual] for the US armed forces, even their dropout rate isn't 30% - more like half that.
