Their reports may appear to match current events right now but do you - for even a heartbeat - truly believe you can trust their reports?
wouldn't trust a single word probably bs propaganda to keep everyone in the giving to ukraine mood.

One of the most corrupt countries in europe lol... just shovel billions on to them though
Wouldnt mind a sequel tbh

Corruption that has for most part been due to Russian influence, so eradicating it is a good return on investment.
Ukraine definitely has corruption, to believe they don't is slapping the blinkers on extremely hard.

Anyone that uses it as a reason to not help Ukraine is completely missing the point.

EDIT: You have to remember that Ukraine was and still is to some degree a very poor nation for a lot of it's people. This is the type of place corruption is easy to fester. Helping Ukraine bring up their standards of living etc will go a long way to addressing this. I can only imagine the sense of purpose the country will now have if they manage to force out the invader to do the best for Ukraine.

As discussed before, China is also a paper tiger same as Russia. If you remove nuclear weapons from the equation then the US/UK will dominate RUS/China in a proper war
I doubt that tbh, they have sheer numbers, they have more of everything. it would be a bloody war for sure and could go either way.

Whilst Russias corruption allowed their military to rot China has not. Their equipment would be more than a match for NATO's and their numbers are far superior

I wouldnt think for one minute they would be as poor as Russia is.

Yes, but if Russia remains a thorn in Ukraine's political system that corruption will never fade and any attempt to improve their standard of living through adoption of Western norms would be fruitless.

You honestly think so? The US spent the best part of $2.5 Trillion and couldn't even beat Afghanistan in 20 years. Russia and China total 18% of the total landmass of the world with 4x the population. The UK can't even force project without the US to help anymore.

Some absolute nonsense is posted on these threads sometimes, so entertaining

Trying to maintain peace when the natives don't want it and less so from an invading force is magnitudes different to a conventional fight between peers. Fact is that we 'beat' Afghanistan, we just couldn't hold it.

Careful posters how US/UK would win.
That’s the US then.
Uk dutifully shouting encouragement from the sidelines. A bit like the NATO can win… yes coz the US can pretty much defeat the ROW combined. Just winning the peace that’s the problem.

One of the big problems for regimes like Russian and China when it comes to fighting a war is the nature of their command chain, individual thought and autonomy is discouraged, levels of professional soldiers is low.

I was wondering that. I thought they were switching over to PRSM going forwards and retiring ATACMS.

It's strange because atacms production ended years ago and now they want more.

My only guess is that they intend to start production back up because the PRSM production won't be able to scale up as fast as they'd like - as far as I know they're re scheduled to produce less than 80 PRSM missiles in all of 2023.

Another possibility is that they intend to hand some over to Ukraine and need to produce them to stop their own stock pile going down
