A sober (no pun intended) analysis of Putin's failed goals that were set at the start

Counting them off:

* Denazify Ukraine: Failed - Zelensky still in power and more popular than ever, Azov battalion not destroyed, Ukrainians now hate Russia.

* Demilitarise Ukraine: Failed - Ukraine is a stronger and better supplied force than it was pre war.

* Security of Russia and NATO expansion: Failed - Finland and Sweden joined NATO. Russian federation now attacked and Crimea attacked, no attacks pre war.

* Safety for DPR people in Donbas: Failed - in 2021, 7 civilians died from shelling, since February 24 2022 its over 1000.

Russia hasn't just failed to meet its goals, its actions have created conditions for the exact opposite effect and Russia is much further away from these goals than they were on February 23

Actually I suspect the biggest danger of civilians in Donbas isn't Ukraine firing shells back, but it the utter disregard Russian has treaded all those press-ganged conscripts and sent them to their slaughter.

Conscription is always ugly, but forcing people to fight (with the thread of guns to their back) and sending them out with next to no equipment and training: would be quicker to just kill them right away.

That's the problem with their 1.5 million army goal. They are basically creating (and very often forcing or bribing "recruits") an army with vast numbers but poor equipment, poor training, poor strategy, a callous disregard for casualties.

I guess if Putin wants to go down as a Stalin, he's got a lot of catching up to do :(

With the Twitter video above - surprised that went on TV as I thought they shut down anyone criticising Putin etc?

Or is it a bit more 'ok' to discuss?

Apologies for not fully understanding here though and very happy Russians are starting to doubt themselves.

It is likely just scripted to give them an excuse for mass mobilisation.

Apparently in Russia it is OK to criticise the government/Putin if you don't think they are being extreme enough weirdly. I think it is because Putin likes to play into this whole doing the will of the people thing so as above, and possibly in some cases scripted, can be used by them to justify further measures.

Russia going to try and attack Lviv and in turn cut off western supplies from Poland.

Guessing they are hoping for the ground to freeze hard, the kind of numbers talked about would mean mobilising all of Russia's remaining regular forces not already attached to the Ukraine operation - which would leave the country largely with its pants down reliant on its nuclear deterrent... especially if they mostly get battered in Ukraine.

Screw Ramstein send it now whats the hold up

Germany won't release leopard tanks nor allow others too (licencing restrictions). They're terrified of either offending russia or losing oil contracts or simply losing face its not entirely clear, possibly also a dose of guilt over WWII their army like Japan's post WWII is legally for defence only

Russia going to try and attack Lviv and in turn cut off western supplies from Poland.

According to what appears to posts by a russian shill

As per the comments there NATO intelligence would see a build up off that size in Belarus weeks or months before they were ready. A lot of Russian shills are sharing old videos/photos from the build up before trying to make out it is a new build up.

That said there are quite concerning signs in Belarus and an increase in mobilisation but nothing remotely like the scale they are talking there.

Interestingly the reports are pretty much no one in Russia is getting exceptions to the next round of mobilisation unless they have a pre-existing medical condition which means they physically couldn't be sent to the frontline. As some commentators put it they aren't looking to the future - whether a weapons developer, doctor, academic, whatever they are all going.
