Source: 'Dude, trust me.'

The narrative is absurd, you wouldn't need a dive team to sabotage the pipeline, it could be done with a single underwater drone. Even Matt Taibbi is treating this with caution. He's refusing to say if he agrees with Hersh or not.

Most people born into the decades before German reunification and the fall of the iron curtain remained deeply suspicious of Russia. Particularly when the benevolent Gorbachev was deposed and the drunk Yeltsin took over to be followed by ex KGB comrade Putin. Russia has never been on friendly terms with the'west' has always taken an opposite stance on geopolitics trying to destabilise it's neighbours. It has been a long time coming (since 1945) but if cold war turns to hot war it is not too surprising in my view.
We've pandered to them for far too long, trying to 'westernise' them with McDonalds etc etc. Russia could, and should be a fabulous country. There's a different mindset...

What? So the missiles flew past Ukraine, did a 180 degree turn and came back to Ukraine? Or were the launched from the west towards Ukraine?

Looking at the map, it's possible a missile fired in the Black Sea could pass over Moldova and Romania on the way to Lviv. Edit: I don't know the targets hit, just looking at how it could occur.

China is the elephant in the room, but realistically they will not be invading Europe (at least in the next 50 years), and are we really likely to be deploying a significant proportion of our air force or army to fight them in some third country (India, say)? I really struggle to imagine any such scenario.

How about Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan?

That whole series of videos on Putin and the Presidents was really interesting viewing. Bolton's was the most damning of Trump but all of them confirm Putin thought he was an idiot who was easy to manipulate and was doing Putin's work for him in regards to weakening NATO bonds.
No surprise there tbh. It was pretty obvious when they met at the time of the word cup and they were on the podiums together, when Trump defended Putin against his own Intelligence agencies

he looked like the boy being sent to the headmaster.

Trump tried to build a high rise in Russia a few years ago, something happened and Putin's had him in his pocket ever since.
Well, he won’t be back.
They have more than one, think it was 10 they had in Ukraine.

I came across a you tube video of one in action in a woods firing on Ukrainian positions.

This thing was super scary, the firepower was incredible it was firing machine guns, missiles and grenades all at the same time.

I hope they get them all and quick but losing one might make them a bit more weary about where they deploy them.
