What does a privately owned forum have to do with democracy? And there is no right to say what you want on a forum, if you want to start such a forum then go for it but you might have the host on your case at some point as most draw the line somewhere.
There is no justifying what Putin is doing or what their armed forces are doing. Murdering and raping their way across Ukraine is immoral.

Much like Twitter is a private company and Musk can do what he wants and tell the story he wants to tell (within the realms of the law), so are all forums and other social media.

It is worrying just how many people are getting sucked into this crap. Its going to become a problem in the UK at some point in the not to distant future, just as its a problem in the US already. I know several people now that have fully red pilled on this nonsense and none of them are unintelligent, 2 of them are very intelligent.

I never said what that forum owner was saying or embracing was illegal, just that it was secular and undemocratic. The nonetheless constrained arena here is like a breath of fresh air compared to such contrived discussions.

Whilst I dont agree with censorship. Fundamentally I think our unequivocal freedom of expression and speech should be respected.
At the same time, challenging ******** is not against those principles, opinions and discussion are the cornerstone of those principles.
What you have to remember just because you (Not you specifically) hold an opinion dosnt make it right and everyone else is entitled to challenge that opinion, pick holes in it, agree with it or mock it even if that is their prerogative.
Just be thankful that you live in a society like ours where you have places like this and very many others where you can voice and share your opinions, some places will share the same opinion, some wont. Just because one community dosnt share the same viewpoints as you dosnt mean they are against freedom of speech or democracy.

They say the attackers need 5 men to every 1 defender, defending is all they need to do, you become a big target charging at defences. Why give up killing 500 men a day just sitting in your bunker.

Because if they don't, they don't get back their territory and Ukrainian's continue to die. So if the RUF is losing 800+ a day, then the UKR is losing 160+ a day, and not gaining anything.

Losses between near peer armies attacking and defending are often with however had the most firepower. So artillery and AirPower.
Generally the attacker… or you can’t attack.
Attackers often have LESS casualties than defenders as the defenders have been pummelled. The attackers only occupy the ground that the artillery has ‘won’.
