Or maybe it's because several times he's threatened to remove it, on more than one occasion, has actually removed it but later been forced to restore it, and was parroting Kremlin narrative for ending the war but putting the onus on the West to do it, and not calling for Russia to leave?
People are putting 2 + 2 together and it does appear that Elon isn't impartial, and a lot of what he says or does is undermining Ukraine to the benefit of Russia.
