India might may not have any scruples about buying cheap Russian oil but Pakistan seems to know which what side of history they want to be on when all is said and done:

With legacy soviet ariltary (rockets for MLRS as well as shells) coming through from Egypt and S300 missiles being supplied via Jordan it seems for now there are avenues to keep Ukraine feed.

I know it's a bit boring to keep drawing comparisons between Putin and Russia with Hitler and the Nazi's but I've just seen this story and immediately it rung those history bells in my head. Anyone remember Hitler Youth from their history books? Well introducing Putin Youth!

Quite fitting the uniforms they've been given look like their from WW2. I'm sure the guns they'll get when their drafted will be just as modern.

Just erring on the side of caution, or do they have intelligence suggesting that Russia is realistically considering the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine if the Ukrainian offensive pushes their **** in?

Though unlikely Putin is running out of cards to play and he won't like that...

I've seen this story reported a number of times and nearly all of them are wrong.

The US did not state why these sensors were installed so all the media automatically think the worst - omg it must be for nuclear bombs..

Nope, the sensors are there to detect rises in radiation levels that indicate a leak or meltdown in a nuclear power plant. They don't need these sensors to detect a nuclear weapon explosion, the dozens of satellites going over Ukraine are capable of detecting a nuclear blast no problem they don't need sensors on the ground for that. Additionally all the seismic monitors that detect earthquakes in neighbouring countries would also detect any nuclear blasts, as will a the sensors in nearby regions that can detect changes in air pressure and sound frequencies - a lot of equipment that's used for monitoring will also detect a large bomb explosion hundreds of miles away no problem

Last week I read in a couple of places that the US had some sensitive equipment at the ZPP nuclear facility and that they had warned the Russian company operating it not to interfere with it. My guess is that these are your sensors and Grim is correct.

Every nation has done something like this, the Hitler Youth was mirrored from the Boy Scouts. I'm pretty sure the Russian boy scouts (putin youth) was founded about the same time as ours was.

Ours, Americans etc all do parades too. It's not something new or out of the norm really.

The old Soviet “Young Pioneers” date back to 1922 and were meant to spread the Communist ideals whilst they helped build a new Soviet paradise as well as serving as soldiers during wartime which could be why the kids in that photo are in Great Patriotic War vintage Red Army uniforms.

I be surprised if that Austrian Bloke didn’t model the Nazi version more on the YPs than he did on the Boy Scouts when he set them up 10 years later in 1932-33.
