Or its a way of introducing mass mobilisation and martial law as a way of continuing the war and trying to complete what he stated back in Feb..
 
wow. talk about snake eating its own tail. It is exactly what is needed to end this imo. it's not like the west can get directly involved so the. them turning on themselves is the best to hope for.

hopefully civilians will stop supporting Putin as well soon enough (civil war?), hopefully no one even more loony than Putin gets the keys to the big red button however.

would now be a good time for the Ukr to try to push on? or do they hang tight and hope Russia back down without having to fight them?

I take it there is no chance this is an organised setup?

Putin could do that without this. This is not staged in any way to have some crazy CT false flag nonsense. It’s a power struggle between Wagner and the Russian MOD.
 
So long as it is what it appears it may be and not a case of "oh, look a nuke accidentally went off, it wasn't us" with them both blaming each other in some horrific pantomime.

I doubt it but I don't discount anything anymore.

He definitely has supporters. It sounds more like they’re all rushing to his aid. Internal Russia has had enough.

Though they need to just get their names right. "army rebellion" just call it a coup

The Russian MoD is telling Wagner fighters they were “deceived and dragged into a criminal adventure”, the state news agency RIA has reported. Given that many of them are the dregs of Russia's prisons (convicted murderers, rapists, armed robbers etc) it's rather amusing that the MoD thinks they will give a toss about being part of a criminal adventure. They will probably enjoy it!

What could possibly go wrong with arming a bunch of lifers and putting them under the command of a belligerent billionaire megalomaniac like Prigozhin? Hopefully, the chickens are finally coming home to roost in Moscow and Putin will catch a richly deserved bullet in the back of the head. That would be poetic justice.
 
Wagner surrounded the defence ministry in Rostov by the looks of it. Is he going to go all out and take this to the Kremlin? What a strange situation Russia is in now.
