If you're referring to Bachmut he never won it, he took most of it but it never stopped being a battleground, that battle is still on going.

Claiming to win it and winning it are to different things. he declared victory and ****** off, but nothing changed except his prisoners were slaughtered.

Wagner has proven to more effective in combat than any of the other Russian forces.

I didn't claim he won, I said he gets to portray he won, which no other person of power in Russia can currently do. like he would get to portray himself as the kind father of Russia if he went for power and pulled out troops from Ukraine, Putin can't do that.

Putin can't now claim to be the protector of Russia if he continues to let cities fall, it's all propaganda and whose better at it, and Wagner are winning at the moment.

Will be the end of Putin most likely. He's started wars during rising public dissent and the war with Ukraine was no different. But now it's heading in a roundabout way straight to Moscow. Won't be good for social mood. The Russian people have probably had enough of his regime and similar.
