Maybe Prigozhin had a change of heart dosnt want to see people suffer anymore decided to try and end it best way he can.

To be fair, so far he's playing a blinder as far as a play for power. Gets to portray the strongman in being the only commander to "win" a battle in Ukraine, but also has the option of withdrawing troops and play the father of Russia sending boys home to their mothers without the stigma of losing a war.

Both sides play hard, winning hearts and minds to the Russian plebs.
