He said he was going to mobilise the nation and build enough weapons to take over all Russias enemies not just Ukraine

One of the specific examples Putin gave was that he said he would build tanks 3 times faster than they were getting destroyed. If that was the case we should be seeing waves of T14s ravaging Ukrainian cities. Putin also said he would build more tanks than the west can build javelins, nlaws and other anti tank weapons..

Why bother mobilizing your nation's economy when you can buy artillery shells for pennies off a bend state and bomb civilian targets that way.

I do find it hilarious how the people replying to that tweet try and depict the efforts of Ukraine to fight back and defend their country as a needless waste of life and money, when most of them probably stockpile a full arsenal of weapons in their basement in case they don’t get their prefered democratically elected government.

The bill is coming one way or another. If Russia are defeated they pick up the tab. If Ukraine capitulates democracy pays twice.

Only if Europe continues to not ramp up its supplies, we've had more than enough time even to build new ammo production factories, re-start production of various equipment, etc.

There is nothing Ukraine needs which specifics depends on the US. Though likely the US will find in the long run this problem will likely cost them more than if they hadn't tried to stay out of it if they pull support.
 
Looks as if Vladolf is pulling out of Azerbaijan and Armenia and leaving them to it. Question is weather it’s because of the losses the Ukrainians have inflicted.

I agree but I don't think we have so when the old stuff runs out that's it.
Obviously I bow to your knowledge on the subject. I just can't see it going on too much longer into next year. Will it resume after a winter pause even? It'll be ridiculously fortified.

Honestly don't get me as a russian sympathiser just a optimist, one way or another.
 
Lots of kit is arriving to Ukraine for next year and the Ukrainians are ramping its own arms supply. A maga government taking office might change things but that’s 2025 before talks are even entered.

if you give everything what Zelensky has asked for... we would be giving him Eurofighters and F35s, which would have been a mega dumb move, there has to be a limit of what you can give out with a lot of thought on it, otherwise you will end up crippling yourself
