I'm always reminded in these sorts of cases of how the number of men (often known to be unpleasant or abusive) drooping dead unexpectedly after a meal seemed to go down after women were able to get divorced., especially in circumstances where the average woman had easy access to things to deal with pests

It shows a distinct lack of imagination and self preservation.

Not everyone who lives in occupied territory hates the Russians you know, a lot of people travelled to live there voluntarily after the Russians invaded. Surprised CNN reported it actually lol

Turns out when a Russian prisoners dies in Ukraine his widow gets a lot of congratulations. She used to be a loser, the wife of a criminal, but now she's the widow of a hero. She gets 5 million rubles compensation from the federal government plus usually a few more from the local government. And a lot of other benefits.

TBF 4 years of wages is probably pretty good if your husband was a criminal, likely a drunk and likely violent. Could be a win win for her.

It's not to be believed. Russia will not leave Ukraine alone until they are in Nato - they have routinely disregarded treaties where they promised to uphold Ukranian sovereignty

Well, things are not looking particularly rosy for Ukraine. It's easy to play hardball with Russia when it's not your citizens on the line.

With the US and Germany apparently now beginning to push Ukraine to negotiate, they're going to have to put some trust in Putin anyway.
