Just had this link pop up in my YT feed:

Not sure if its just echoing the first or independent confirmation though. I generally wait on the official tally from UA that people like Juzzie report.

Looks like they used a spoof patriot battery radar signal to push those 3 SU34`s onto a real battery. Thats an ouch

Another couple of hundred million bucks up in smoke and three pilots dead. I’m surprised the pilots bodies didn’t get left to rot as per usual.

Due to the downing of those su-34's it gave Ukraine some opportunity to fly without getting shot from 100km+ away so now there is videos of Ukranian migs flying over Russian positions south of Kherson and dropping bombs on them

Nothing like a few 1000lbs bombs to soften a target area.

Give me credence to those reports If Ukrainian has temporary air control over the area.

On a side note: I see the Dutch have confirmed they are sending 18 F-16's to Ukraine
Ukraine needs either air superiority or effective nullification of Russian anti air assets.

Expect to see more suicide drones hunting Russian assets.

If I was Ukraine I’d be concentrating on mass production of shadid drone copies.
Flooding Russian airspace, causing traffic and using up valuable missiles and creating holes of defensive cover over the front lines.

But that’s just me

No fireworks again in Russia, no new years celebrations

Listening to Michael Clarke he was saying that Zaluzhnyi will likely get sacked in the near future. If they lose Adivvka Zelenski may use that as the excuse for replacing him..

Russians these days are standing in long queues in the snow to buy food

The Russian government says it's a good thing, because demand is higher than supply is a sign of improvement in quality of life for Russians.

Higher food prices and lower supply of food means higher standard of living for Russians; you heard it here first.

Has anyone noticed the absolute flood of nasty videos being released by Russia, showing Ukrainians being blown up? I do wonder why Russia does this.

Do you wonder why Ukraine releases a constant flood of drone videos of dropping grenades on wounded russian soldiers etc???

I think you have to be pretty special to not understand this is a 2 way propaganda/morale street.

I think it's more a case, if I understand them correctly and from what I've seen, that they are pushing their videos into the more pro Ukrainian channels.

Be interesting to know if Russia decided not to send fighters to intercept the MiGs due to not knowing what took out the Su-34s, or if the Russian pilots straight up refused to go. Understandable either way as anything that can reliably shoot down Su-34s can reliably shoot down anything in Russia's (or NATO's) inventory.

Seems odd that Ukraine would send MiG 29s to do bombing, but then I guess they felt their Su-25 would be MANPAD fodder and they couldn't risk using their Su-24s as they need them to launch storm shadows.

I'm not very familiar with how Ukraine's Air Force operates. However, could it be possible that the Mig29's are held at a higher state of readiness? (kinda like RAF QRA flights?) Therefore they took advantage of the situation with what they had at hand? I'm just speculating here. However, I'd suspect that the like of SU24/25's are used in a more deliberate way, planned missions with specific payloads especially the 24's seeing as these are the ones modified to fire NATO weapons.

Either way I'm intrigued to learn more about how they operate! It feels like we only get small glimpses every now and then. They seem to be understandably very secretive in how the UAF operates.
