No no no... You are the last one who should be going on about people launching into "pedantic rants".

Dont worry though I'll keep it short. I quote,

I've removed the guff but thats not even taking things out of context. Nothing should be taken from ChatGPT as "actual fact" without proper verification and secondary sources. Try harder!

Lets be honest here though. With your track record, if you told me water was wet with verifiable proof, i'd still check for myself.
You seem to be in this thread for nothing more than just that to argue the counter point, I dont even think you believe half what you post its that stupid. You seem to get some sort of buzz from derailing threads and sending them down the toilet for a page at a time.

I'm not sure if you realise this steve, but this is an internet forum, using Chat GPT to quickly validate a simple non-subjective fact is perfectly fine. It's also correct in this case. Do you dispute that? If not then could you stop derailing the thread?

What do you folks think the best case scenario is for Ukraine, if the EU and US lose interest completely? Asking out of curiosity, really.

Perpetual defensive war, capitulation, or Russia giving up?

It doesn't seem likely that Ukraine will be able to push back/"win" without continuing support.

I’m not sure what would be best case, but I’m sure the war would last longer than Vladolf.

Wars of the future aren't going to be much fun, are they. Leave your house and get swarmed by explosive drones.
Yup be like

Can't post here but the Ukrainians are using their Bradley's to blunt the Russians infantry pushes, firing rounds at their trenches and IFVs. Several videos of Bradley's using their 25mm to blow up Russian ifvs

But Ukraine has taken losses too. Unfortunately the Russians got their hands on a working m2 then they made a video about it, exploring the vehicle, starting it up - some interesting bits in there, they noticed all the electronics were in Ukrainian and not English and that particular Bradley was manufactured in the 1980s. And the Russians were impressed by this 50 year old vehicle, lots of oohing and aahing

Seen one with some Russians trying to take cover behind a reasonably intact house. I was thinking nope, not going to work. It didn’t work.

Yes, you can be gay in Russia, it is not illegal. I didn't say anything more than that. I don't agree with their laws, but 2 men or women can live together privately and no one is going to come around and arrest them. A lot of our laws in the West have only improved in the last 20-40 years, yet for some reason you're already holding Russia to the same standards as us. There's far worse going on in the world to LGBT people than not being allowed a gay pride festival in Moscow.

Until an accusation is made against them of having transgressed a law, of which there are many and broad for suitable interpretation as required.

While your at it, I'm surprised you didn't bring up that it was the same in the UK, it was never strictly illegal to be gay. Just illegal to do the gay things.

The point you are missing is that they are regressing and placing laws to instate and reinstate severe restrictions after having previously decriminalised - so the standards they are being held to are in fact their own. But yeah convince yourself its just about being allowed or not allowed a gay pride festival in Moscow.

In other news on the information war front, the YouTube channel 'Watrhog Defense' has been restored after his channel got deleted by YouTube for 'imitation' and 'spreading misinformation', no doubt this was instigated by either pro Russian dicks or Russian agents. I know those sort of channels aren't everyone's cup of tea but it's important that unjust decisions against pro Ukrainian channels are fought otherwise YouTube will become an exclusive hotbed for Russian trolls who's information will go unchecked.

That's good news. I was following the story via this guy's channel: https://www.youtube.com/@dr.gerdes
