My questions would be what is his source, why if the Russian invasion has begun, is literally no tv news channel or official government media channel reporting it. Its definite what he is saying but that doesnt mean what he is saying is true. I have berated my kids for years now for simply automatically believing everything they see/read on the internet (young people seem to be locked on about its on the net so it must be true !) , so I have to always apply that doubt to my own way of viewing things online.

The UN security council meeting has just begun and is being broadcast live, you would think that if Russia has just begun an invasion, it would be mentioned in the UN council meeting, but nothing, not a peep about an invasion having begun.
 
Doesn't really matter if the twitter stuff is fake it's happening.

Early last week I didn't think it would. Over weekend it seemed like it was a certainty.

This is going to decimate Europe. We have no way to stop this. Russia can simply turn off our gas. We can't do anything as damaging back.

We only get 3% of our gas from Russia. We may feel it but nowhere near as bad as mainland Europe.

Might not matter to you but I find facts to be of absolute vital importance. Especially at times like this. Things are on a knife edge for sure and it does look likely to get worse but fake videos and reports do not benefit the situation. For me at least, the truth is paramount, not people just trying to maximise their social media profiles.

Turn off Europe's gas but we are ok in that respect.

Again, I am not going to simply believe that, I'm just not. Is that video Mariupol, do you have proof of that? Are those noises part of the video recorded or just overlaid sound effects? Now dont get me wrong , I am not saying that is the case, all I am saying is that stuff can be manipulated exceptionally easily and I am simply not going to automatically believe every twitter post is fact.
 
Yup , Sky now confirming that Putin speech, so it was live, not a replay

Will be interesting to see what the Russian representative says when it comes to their turn to speak in this UN meeting
