It’s hysterical rhetoric that has no basis other than your skewed perception.
So that is a yes then?
Your "perception" of Russia's massive military build-up does not inspire confidence in your predictions.

It’s CCP policy to reunify by 2028 I think it wasprolly about 10 years away, but yeah
He didn't think the West would truly apply the necessary sanctions because he's made sure many of our politicians are corrupted. He's been proven right so far.It is wishful thinking if you think that whatever heavier sanctions the west now come up with will somehow restore Ukraine to some form of non-influenced Russian democracy.
You don't think Putin knew going in the worst that the west was prepared to do? Whatever it is does not compare to the thought of Ukraine eventually being part of NATO.
The only thing that might have deterred Putin was if the west already had troops in their masses already on the ground or was prepared to now deploy troops in support of Ukraine. That is extremely unlikely to happen, which is why Putin has moved on Ukraine with near impunity.
Big stretch though wouldn’t you say. Although I’ve got room for a second helpingDidn't you say the warnings about Russia invading the Ukraine were just hysteria? (Or something to that effect)
So China taking Taiwan next on the cards after this?
Would they though ?

Russia wins at Russia, US wins at US, neutral area I dunno who would win

To rebuild the Russian Empire according to Putin's speech. What is Russia invading for ?
willy-wavingWhat is Russia invading for ?
Russia has invaded and we still haven't rolled out the ready made planned sanctions thats my point, Boris is on TV hand wringing and promising to do something he has had weeks to plan for this moment the maximum sanctions should have been applied the minute they crossed the boarder and now we have reports Sunak is talking about sanctions.... the leadership in the west is looking incredibly weak right now, nobody expects a military response but some sort of co-ordinated response is in order and is totally missing.
Agree this is not hysteria. It's damn frightening.
To rebuild the Russian Empire according to Putin's speech.
It would make them think again about invading other countries. Are we going to wait for them to attack a NATO country before acting? The key is the City of London, Johnson could really hurt the Russian regime if he wanted to, the problem is he and his party are deeply corrupted by the dirty Russian money which is why he's not doing it.
Then don’t I have no stake in the outcome.Your "perception" of Russia's massive military build-up does not inspire confidence in your predictions

One of the B52's I posted is still above Poland now, near the East.
But he was bogged down with idiots hand wringing over party gate and cake eating.
Putin probably doesn't want that either, so there is latitude for us to do something. We certainly shouldn't just roll over and take it because it only emboldens him.I believe so. The UK and US nuclear arsenal alone could disable Russia very quickly. However, that would also mean the end of the world… so it’s all somewhat irrelevant.
