I prefer the reference blower cooler, my 5870 ran cool and quiet with it, 99% of the heat is pushed out of the case as already stated.

The ATI reference cooler blows all the hot air out of the case, this may be a positive to some customers.
The pc one is clocked 25mhz higher on the core and 100mhz on the ram but apparently eats up over 100 more watts.
What? How can a different PCB result in a 60-70% increase in wattage draw?
Hey - do these come with the usual assortment of cables, including a standard 4 pin "hard drive" cables to 6 pins? or a 6 pin cable peroid?
Reason I ask is I've lost the second 6 pin cable from my PSU (I know... fail)
its just a 5870 dude! what more do you need to know? is it because it doesnt have a shiney sticker on it? lol
I shall be writing a glowing review for OcUK and the Card once I get back in tonight
has to be one smart ass does their not , post somewhere else with pointless replies please
not being a smartass, what more do you need to know? i just dont get why you would ask something like that...you know what a 5870 theres a 100 reviews out there if you didnt, and brand identity is subjective so your never going to get a factual response.
waiting to read it
dont try to sound clever it aint working , not all 5870's perform the same read the review's . i have a 5870 already , i want to know if they use the same amount of power the powercolor pcs+ version use's which is more than the stock amd version
Thanks for you inquiry, the HD5870 1GB GDDR5 is designed by our own, and the water-block in the market is for BBA board only as I know here. So there is no water-block can fit these models.
If you really interested in water-block cooling, you may consider 6870 here, http://www.vtx3d.com/products_features.asp?id=56, it is BBA board version which most water-block fit it in the market. However, it will void the warranty if you modify it.
