I was happy to unban if people got off their high horse for a moment. Neil directly promoted a competitor, you might not care but the business does. It's not a childish attitude at all.

You'd rather have threads and threads of bad publicity, with masses of lost respect from your community and customers, than one little link to a competitor? You could have just warned him.

I'd have a think about it, then I'd ask your marketing manager which she'd prefer.
